Nick Lothian

Product Design for A.I. driven products

Nick Lothian CEO Tyto.AI

Modern applications are increasingly using A.I. and machine learning to drive important parts of their functionality. While there has been significant progress on improving the raw algorithms powering these systems there has been little thought put into *how* they should be used within applications.

In this talk, Nick will show examples from 4+ years experience in running A.I. driven products of the different concerns one needs to consider when integrating these tools into applications.

Nick Lothian

Nick Lothian is the founder and CEO of Tyto.AI - an artificial intelligence consultancy and product company based in Sydney and Adelaide. Prior to Tyto.AI, Nick was a directory at the Data2Decisions Co-operative Research Centre, where he ran machine learning and A.I projects.

Don't miss your chance to see Nick Lothian and many other inspiring speakers at AI 18.

Tickets start at $695, for an in-depth day with the world's leading design experts.

About Us

Co-founded and now run by John Allsopp, Web Directions has for nearly 20 years brought together leading developers, engineers, visual, IxD, UX and product designers, Art and Creative Directors, product managers indeed everyone involved in producing web and digital products to learn from one another, and the World's leading experts across this vast field.

We spend our lives thinking about what comes next, keeping up with trends in technology, practices and processes, and filtering the hype, to make sure you don't miss trends that matter, and don't waste time on hype that doesn't.

We promise attending one of our events will leave you significantly better versed in the challenges you face day to day, and in solutions for addressing them.
