The participants make the program

What to expect

An unconference replaces the pre-set speaker program with a day shaped by the people in the room. There are no keynotes and no panel of usual suspects: the most useful questions, demonstrations and shared problems become the agenda.

It is designed for the conversations that are difficult to have at a conventional conference—unfinished ideas, hard production problems, lessons from failed experiments and emerging practices that are changing too quickly for a polished slide deck.

  • A participant-created agenda built and voted on that morning
  • Parallel conversations, demonstrations and problem-solving sessions
  • The freedom to move whenever another session would be more useful

How the day works

We begin with everyone writing down the questions, topics or demonstrations they would most like to explore. We cluster related ideas, vote on them and turn the strongest themes into a grid of parallel sessions.

A session might be a group discussion, a short show-and-tell, a practical problem-solving workshop or a brief provocation followed by conversation. You can lead something, help shape it or simply take part.

  • Propose a question, challenge, demonstration or emerging idea.
  • Vote for the subjects that will make up the day’s program.
  • Choose the conversations that matter to you and move between them freely.
  • Share what you know, ask what you do not, and leave with perspectives you would not get from a lecture.

Who should come

AI engineers, software engineers, technical leaders, founders, researchers, data practitioners, designers and product people are all welcome. The common thread is curiosity about how AI is changing the systems we build and the work around them.

You do not need to arrive with a prepared talk or consider yourself an expert. People who bring a real question are just as valuable as people bringing an answer.

What to bring

Bring your experience, your lessons, your questions and your concerns. If you have something useful to demonstrate, bring that too. A laptop is optional; an idea you want to examine with thoughtful peers is enough.
