Web Directions Wrap up – the blogosphere

Over at Technorati you’ll find about 1000 in bound links to Web Directions – so we aren’t quite Engadget, but I think that’s pretty cool. Here’s some of the posts I found with wrapups, comments, suggestions and thoughts that you might be interested in. There are plenty more out there. And of course, remember the Flickr photos (if you’ve uploaded some from the conference and related events, just tag them wds07).

First up, very popular keynote speaker Scott Berkun posts Why he loves Australia, after his recent trip for WDS07, while his wife Jil also comments about some of the things she enjoyed here.

Gary Barber, whose visited several times, recaps his week in sydney for Web directions and more.

As mentioned earlier, SitePoint has several interviews with Web Directions speakers and attendees, including Dave Greiner of Freshview, Andy Clarke, and Adrian Holovaty

Over at Freshview, the boys talk about their experience of being at the Expo, and a recap of the conference

Seb Chan, who spoke about some of the fantastic things the PowerHouse Museum is dong, talks abut some of his highights

Peter Gasston has some observations about Chis Wilson’s keynote, and Chris replies with some comments about multiple versions of IE on one system.

At Semantically Driven (a great way to be) Jenny Clift has some detailed posts about the conference

Industry livewire Cheryl Lead, who won the first ticket to the first conference we ever did (then gave it to her now finacee, Scott Gledhill, who spoke this year at the conference) has a detailed wrapup of her thoughts.

Nick Hodge, now “professional geek” in the Microsoft Evangelist team has the habit of doing video voxpops with tech folks, which he did at Web Directions South

Wonderful and very popular speaker Lisa Herrod, has some further observations about her presentation and the conference

Speaker Justin French has writeups of Scott Berkun’s and Mark Pesce’s fantastic keynotes.

New resident of Norway, where he now works at Opera, Lachlan (HTML5) Hunt has some thoughts on his blog, and proves that when it comes to food, you can’t please eveyone ;-) “fancy gourmet food which I don’t like too much” – you are going to love rollmops Lauchie

Aforementioned Scott Gledhill has his own post on his presentation

Woowoowoo has a couple of web directions related posts (sory, no “about” page to put a name to the blog :-( )

Patrick Kennedy at StepTwo designs has two detailed posts about the conference and his experience

Our fantastic photographer, Morgan Capenter, has a blog post, and loads of photos from the event. Just a note, Morgan also takes loads of photos at events like Madi Gras and Sleaze Ball, so while the page lined it SFW, pages he links to might be less so ;-)

Ben Buchanan posted two detailed live blog style posts of notes he took on the fly at the conference, my bad for not linking to them earlier.

What have I missed? Please let me know!
