Web Directions Code ’23 session spotlight–Perceived Performance

Perceived Performance

How can we make our websites feel as fast as native apps. This talk will cover larger scale patterns like pre-fetching and cache warming, rather than memoization of variables.

Luke Denton

Luke is Australia’s first Magento 2-certified Professional Front End Developer with over 3 years experience working specifically with Magento 2. This builds on his strong experience with Magento 1, alongside his degree in Software Engineering and Certificate 4 in Project Management. Luke has played an active role in client engagement and solution design across a number of Aligent’s largest and most complicated multi-integration projects, including spear heading our PWA and React advancements. His passion for building the software community has seen him mentor both his colleagues and client’s software engineers in delivering best-practice, clean solutions.
