The return of video ristretto
Last year we ran one of our most popular features ever here at the Web Directions site, Video Ristretto (ristretto, a term more widely used outside Italy than within, describes a particularly concentrated espresso coffee).
Video Ristretto showcased some of the most popular shorter presentations from our conferences, and we felt it was high time to bring it back for 2016.
First up, from Web Directions 2015 last October, in our Engineering track, here’s Julia Clavien addressing the sort of congitive biases commonly seen in software development projects. From group think to the sunk cost fallacy, most of us have found ourselves falling into these traps.
