New session: Developing for iPhone
We couldn’t let this year go by without doing a session on the perils and joys of developing for the iPhone, but we wanted to wait and see what secret projects might crop up in the aftermath of the release of the 3G phone in Australia.
Plenty of people have been beavering away on all manner of things, and I’m certain this is only the beginning – expect a lot more over the next 12 months if what has happened in the US in the last year is any indication at all. But the people we thought were best placed to give a kick ass preso on the dizzying highs, the devastating lows (not to mention the creamy middles) would be Tim Lucas (who you may know from Agency Rainford, vTalk, Work at Jelly, Sydney Ruby on Rails and Webjam) and Pete Ottery (Group Interface Designer at News Digital Media). The guys will deliver an action packed session on what they learned while tailoring iphone.news.com.au, one of Australia’s largest and most well respected news sites. If you’ve got a hankering to develop for this exciting new device, you’ll want to hear what these two old industry hands have to tell about Developing for iPhone.
