Microsoft REMIX coming in June
Each year in March, Microsoft hold MIX, their web focussed conference. For the last three years, Microsoft Australia has been holding REMIX, a one day event bringing focussing on the web, from Microsoft’s perspective. This year’s event is a few weeks off, in Sydney June 11.
Clearly Microsoft, and their technologies, play a significant role in the lives of web designers and developers. Internet Explorer remains, and will do so for quite some time yet, the most widely used browser. On both the server and client side, a raft of Microsoft technologies power tens of millions of sites. Whether you use any or many of these technologies, there’s no doubting that your site’s visitors will, and there’s a good chance that your clients or companies systems will. So keeping abreast of what goes on with these technologies is relevant to many web professionals.
