Event Dates for 2020, our 15th year!
We’ve just announced dates and locations for our entire 2020 season of conferences, for what will be our 15th year of Web Directions.
Changes for 2020
We’ve streamlined our events for 2020, combining our Product and Design conferences into a single 2-day, 2-track conference, which retains the name Product And after 3 great years, we’re folding Culture into Summit as a new fourth track, focussing on people/talent/culture and leadership. Slightly fewer events, but even more content, and even better value, whatever your role.
Here’s the full lineup for 2020. We hope to see you there!
Code
June 4th and 5th, Melbourne
First cab off the rank is Code, our very popular, always-a-sell-out front end development conference. It takes place in Melbourne in June (4th and 5th), and focuses on the challenges of front end engineering. From core languages (CSS, HTML and JavaScript), to important practices (performance, security, architecture, accessibility), Code is the place for Front End developers in Australia to come together.
Code is preceded by an event designed for senior engineering professionals, Code Leaders, which has been running since 2016, with a focus on the technical, and not-so-technical challenges faced by leaders in engineering. It takes place June 3rd in Melbourne, and has sold out each year so far.
Product (Design and Management)
July 1st and 2nd, Melbourne
Last year we started Product, our product management focussed conference, which was a fantastic success by any measure. This year we’re combining Design, our long standing product design conference, with Product, to create a 2 day, 2 track conference focussed on product design, and product management called Product.
Product will be immediately followed by Design Leaders, on July 3rd, the third instalment of our single track event for design leaders, managers and senior designers.
Web Directions Summit
November 4th and 5th, Sydney
And finally, Web Directions Summit is where we bring it all together, with product management, product design and front end engineering tracks, and this year seeing the addition of our people/talent/culture/leadership track. This track incorporates the topics our Culture conference has focussed on, but now expanded across two days.
It’s a huge lineup for 2020, so whatever your role in Web and Digital product, we’ve got you covered. Hope to see you there.
Great reading, every weekend.
We round up the best writing about the web and send it your way each Friday.
