Announcing the W3C Track at Web Directions South
We are really excited to be able to announce the W3C Track at Web Directions South, hosted and curated by the W3C Australian Office, and supported by CSIRO, home of the Office. Laurent Lefort and others at CSIRO have been working incredibly hard for some time now to put together an amazing track of international and local experts, covering a broad range of W3C technologies, including HTML 5, RDFa, open social networks, accessibility and much more.
W3C tracks are far from common, and it’s a great privilege for us to be able to work with the Australian Office to put this on as part of Web Directions South and Web Week.
A big thanks too to Amit Parashar, who when in his former role as coordinator of the W3C Australian Office started the ball rolling on this project.
So, if you are coming to Web Directions already, you’ve now to even more wonderful content to choose from. And if you still need a little nudge, then perhaps a whole extra track will do the trick?
And remember, the discount period for conference places at just $895, $100 off is September 14th.
Great reading, every weekend.
We round up the best writing about the web and send it your way each Friday.
